Description
Using the wide aperture, my goal was to produce a narrow depth of field, thus highlighting the interesting rocks and ripples (to me!!) in the foreground. I have always loved the colour and texture of clinker bricks when they are wet.
The original photo of this is HUGE, and is best viewed zoooomed to experience the full effect.

Nicely done. I might also try getting down lower and really close to one group of the rocks and have a larger foreground grouping then fading away to a more blurred background. Great subject to play around with.

I like your approach on this shot. The wide aperture blurs distracting background and focus on the detail on the beach nearby.
