Yes - Oscar will be healthy!! The legs are working again, healing the wounds. Oscar eats and drinks!
On Saturday he will be examined again. Now it's time build up and recuperate. I know that we will never see him again when we open the cage. But the feeling of having given him a life - that's the best thanks. I am glad he is wild - the only way he has a chance ...

Do you worry that by having so much actual contact with humans he will not know that humans are something to run from? I'd hate to see him trust humans if he is to live wild. It always helps to have someone who supports you. Great job on Oscar, great news and great shot.
i so glad that Oscar will be able to go free. some times they can not return to the wild. think happy thoughts and maybe Oscar will come back for a visit time to time to see you.
