Description
This swan decided he'd had enough of my attentions and came at me while I was crouching down to get a shot. My aged knees just got me up before he lashed out at my camera.

Attack of the 30 foot swan!
Save yourself if you can!!! Yes, paparazzi living dangerously! Absolutly cool!
Swans always look so graceful on water, but on land they look very cumbersome. Top Action pic!!!!!!
Brilliant! This could so easily have fallen in to the 'My last pic for 6 months' cstegory.
lol...lucky escape
A swan on a mission, had a few encounters myself, fabulous shot!!!

Swans! Everyone goes on and on about how lovely they are (and they are lovely!) but oh, what vicious creatures! Birds are evolved from dinosaurs, according to contemporary evolutionary theory, and I can sorta see it when I watch birds doing the sorts of things we'd associate with dinosaurs, such as acting all fierce, intimidating, and downright mean. You've captured this rampaging beauty beautifully! And it's good you got out of the way just in time...swan beaks are deadly!
