Description
In answer to a number of enquiries as to why I haven't posted for a while, I've been contending, in this order, with an 'out of the blue' Cancer diagnosis, pre-adjuvent chemotherapy, and the prospect of major surgery (now confirmed for next week). So, it's going to be a little longer before I can post again, but I will! The last few weeks however have provided me with the time and energy to offer this somewhat ironic contribution to my friends here at the Renderosity gallery. Rest assured I'm ok, thanks to family and friends, and confident because of the prognosis provided for me by consultants at my local hospital.

Having gone through this with too many family members, I am so sorry to hear about you troubles. I'm glad to see that you're able to channel what energy you have into this piece. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there.
Well, there seems to be some good news within the bad news, as I conclude from what you've been told by the medicine men. I've been wondering for quite a while what might have been the reason for putting your inspiring and enjoyable work on hold. It's good to see that your creativity has broken free in spite of the difficulties you have to face. My best wishes are with you and your family, or, as we say in good old Germany: "Halt die Ohren steif!" (keep 'em ears stiff).
This is a terrific and inspiring piece, Mike. Stay strong and keep your spirits up as you battle the Big C.

This image shows a wonderful attitude on your part, as well as a remarkable sense of humor. Having been a fan of yours for what seems like "ages", I hope to enjoy your work for years to come.
