Description
Yesterday the cows returned from their period high in the mountains and walked through the streets of Hittisau..much excitement and noise with the bells clanging. If there have been no mishaps ,while up high, the lead cow is crowned with a floral headdress, plus the bell as a way of giving thanks for their safe return.
Happy that you enjoyed yesterday's upload. Jean

What fun! But I'll be the cows would rather have eaten the flowers than wear them...great shot!
This is a fabulous shot Jean. It looks as if the cow has a bell front and back, poor thing!
I never have seen decorated cows before. Interesting!
