Description
Wimborne Rugby Football Club against Corsham RFC.
A bit one sided with Wimborne running away with the game 58-28. Almost a basketball score there.
A major departure from my usual sport.
No idea of the rules, no idea of the scoring system, no idea of what the heck was going on. But, hey, got camera, gotta snap away.

I love my rugby. As soon as I saw this I knew it would be yours. You do these high speed shutter shots so well. Let me explain what's going on in this scene....the guy with the ball is thinking 'Gee I hope I don't get my PH'ing head kicked in'! And the guy in the red socks is thinking 'Gee I sure would like to kick this guy's PH'ing head in'!
LOL at Andrew! So now we know. SUPER and quite funny pic!
A great shot of the intensity.
'never mind the ball...lets get on with the game'
To tell the truth, I haven’t been to a rugby game before but only what I see on TV. It is a very physical game. Some one had posted the Maori Haka and I know our University of Hawaii football team use to do the Haka just before their game. They had learned the haka from a New Zealand rugby team who always does the haka just before their game. Check out the haka of "Cook Islands v NZ Maori Haka" . Aloha
Good captured the spirit of rugby in this artwork! If you're into the intensity of rugby, there's a great article on rugby league spirit discussing the game's passion and power. For anyone who appreciates the spirit of rugby and wants to explore the depths of its impact, this article is a must-read.
