Here is the final member of the C.A.R.E.-Givers, the young and ever optimistic Charity. Charity is the obvious lone African-American member of the team, and is also the Coast Guard rep. Her role is that of the team armorer, so she handles all of their weapons and equipment, and she’s also the youngest member of the team with a bit of an idolization complex for team leaders, Faith and Joy. So, she’s very upbeat and eager to please the other women above her. And, while she does take her job very seriously she also seems to be one of the more laid back members of the team, which could also be tied to her youthfulness and inexperience of generally being the rookie. She also uniquely carries a set of dual crossbows as her personal weapons, which aren’t remotely anything that would commonly be any kind of normal military weapons. Plus, they must be specially modified ones to reload and auto-fire on their own in some way, improved upon by herself, otherwise they would be highly impractical. But, her bio does say that she has an uncanny talent for tinkering with and improving weapons that she never knew she had before joining the military and discovering such a talent after being assigned to such duties. In trying to figure out where it is that she could possibly be from though, I would have to say that going by the criteria that I’ve put forth with all of the other women in the group, cross-referencing areas of the U.S. with a particular military presence, and certain racial and cultural demographics, as well as their particular personality quirks… I would take a guess that Charity is from somewhere in California.
