Description
Back in the spring I showed this same view of the river. At that time however the water was much much higher than it is now. Not only were all these rocks out of sight, but the water was getting close to touching the underside of the bridge seen in the upper left corner of the image.

Beautiful calm river and capture! :) Been seeing so many raging rivers on the news of late, that one forgets how beautiful they can be.
wonderful site, awesome shjot !
The girls would love a run along this river, beautiful!!!
Very beautiful picture and location. I went back through your gallery to find the other picture you spoke of. I was glad I did - you have done some amazing work, both with photography and fractals. Some of your fractal work is purely awesome! I'm glad I went looking! :-)
Looks like a nice and clean place.fine shot.
♥ Very beautiful capture of a marvelous landscape dear Jim ♥

So beautiful! I like it better in summer, and not so cold either!

A tranquil and beautiful river scene !
Great capture, Jim I just took some photos of the areas I saw during the winter/spring and the difference is something else
Amazing the difference a season makes. I like the late summer view.
Marvelous place here, wonderful and peaceful, thank you for sharing!
So then everything we see along the banks is new growth. The seasonal regeneration on this wondrous living planet never ceases to amaze me. I am reminded by some of your previous posts where you described the loud cracking of the ice sheets during the thaw. I remember some images where you even layered your cats onto them. I am always delighted when you provide us with local imagery of the gorgeous area in which you live. I bet the fragrance there is divine too.
you mean rivers are suppose to have water? here they are running dry as a desert.maybe this weekend we have a chance for rain beautiful landscape
