Description
Experimenting with outdoor light and atmosphere.
No post.
Almost everything: trees, terrain, huts, car, camera, coconuts, pterodactyl, sky and atmosphere domes built from scratch in Blender to be as low-poly as possible.
There were supposed to be two other sight-gags in this scene, with Dino and Bam-bam, but for some reason this is right on the limits of my quad-core 3gig XP rig. DS4A pro didn't make things easier either: It bolstered the scene from 45mb to 83mb :(
BTW Saving the scene takes a staggering 40 minutes so there's something wrong, but I'm blowed if I know what 8{

Nicely done! And we don't get to see much of them, but I like the cars too. I can picture the camera-bird's line: "Arrrk! I do all the work and the photographer get's all the credit."
I'm so sorry to hear about those struggles with DS you're experiencing, Gary... I do hope you'll find a solution! Anyway, you have created a spectacular scene in this cute cartoon style! Love the colors and lights in this render, and especially such sweet surprising details like the "camera picture", and the girls' "am I looking good on the photo?" expressions!
