Description

Nemacladus glanduliferus. We call flowers like these "belly flowers" because you have to get on your belly to see them. :) This flower is probably 1/4" long. The yellow center has a tiny drop of nectar. I got this picture in my yard in southern Arizona, USA, back before I had a decent macro lens. I added four "close-up filters" to my lens, and then reverse-mounted the whole assembly. You can get some pretty remarkable macros with a set-up like that.
