Description

On our second day we took the train to Oslo. About an hour+. We walked around downtown and ended up at the site of the bombing a week before we came. The mood was lighter than I expected perhaps because they had the guy and it wasn't terrorists. Around the corner from the bomb site, surrounding this nearby church, we found this field of tributes. We saw similar, yet smaller, tributes in each town we visited while in Norway. We even saw some up on Preikestolen(more about that later). We took a moment. My wife shot this one.

Great tribute to the victims and beautifully captured. You said it wasn't terrorism, I think it was. But instead of having Al Quaida or another Muslim inspired group behind it, it was done by a local. He may have had a different agenda, but he is a terrorist never-the-less!

Exactly the meaning intended though, perhaps, poorly expressed, junge1.

Such a shock that a beautiful and peaceful country like Norway had to suffer this terrible tragedy. The photo speaks volumes.
