Description
This is a narrow cobblestone alleyway and it was the only possible POV. The art work has been there for many years and no one has painted graffiti over it. Newburyport is a small coastal city in Essex County, Massachusetts, USA, 35 miles (56 km) northeast of Boston. The population was 21,189 at the last census. An historic seaport with a vibrant tourism industry, Newburyport includes part of Plum Island. The mooring, winter storage and maintenance of recreational boats, motor and sail, still contribute a large part of the city's income. A Coast Guard station oversees boating activity, especially in the swift tidal currents of the Merrimack River. Zoom to get a better view.

splendid wall, great capture!
Lovely Work,
beau graffiti!
Great capture Dana. I am not surprised that it is still there. I would call it art. Just imagine how many people, just like you, have taken pictures of this. It depicts the New England life style.
Wow that is one cool Graffiti capture Dana.
Great mural art! Wonderful shot! :)
That's not Graffiti that's a masterpiece, nice shot.
