Description
34 years ago today, Elvis died at his , Memphis,Tennessee home, Graceland, at the young age of 42. I am forever a fan. Who can remember what they were doing when they heard the news of Elvis's death? I was across the street babysitting.
By they way this picture was taken in downtown Nashville this last weekend.

WOW... JUST I LOVE ELVIS TOO !!!
nice capture. I love the coloring!
Really cool the way you've composed and presented this! I love how you've brought this fella to life with choosing colour for him. A really cool image, with a great title as well!
Fantastic capture!!
What a great Elvis-outfit. A fantastic capture, it could be HIM!
A delightful image with a touch of sadness!
First of all if I knew you were behind me with a Camera I would have Posed better..LOL..I was working my first job at a Auto Part Store,Worked there parttime after School when the News came over the Radio..I remember the Hawaii Special when the whole Family sat around the TV to watch Elvis...Excellent Capture..Thank You Very Much:)
They don't make them like that any more.
I had to laugh loudly, as I switched into your gallery. Now I am a little bit ashamed. I am not a fan of Elvis, I´m a little bit to young for him, my generation is formed more by the 60ies beat explosion. we were much influenced here by "Swinging London". I loved the early Elvis Presley. Here I agree with wysiwig. Fine snapshot!
wow... love it!
I don't remember where I was. But I always watched Elvis with my Mom. And her Bday is coming up. and she is gone almost 2 years. I also have an Elvis cd. :)
Do they live still, those Elvis copies. Wonderful shot!
I've been a fan and admirer of Elvis's music since he started. He was a genius gifted with a most amazing voice. Good image.
Another impersonator ? Elvis is still the King ; nobody can sing like he did. What was I doing when he passed away ? Can't remember. Great photo and postwork.
I heard the news while on vacation in Northern Ontario. Our little transistor radio picked up a rather sporadic CBC National Radio News that day (6pm EDT) and in a dry, matter of fact tone they began the newscast by announcing that singer/song writer Elvis Presley was found dead in his Graceland home. I was too young to understand his importance in the world, but some thirty-four years later, no one can doubt the man impact on our collective culture.
I worked with Elvis on a couple of movies, I find this type of devotion amazing... :-)
Very well done ... Elvis lives!!
