Description
Always from Santa Tecla, a splendid flower to wish you all a wonderful Sunday and a fantastic week! :)
Datura Suaveolen or Brugmansia , named after Sebald Justin Brugmans, 1763-1819, a Dutch professor of Natural History.
In Italy it's commonly called angel's trumpet for its characteristic shape of trumpet. It’s a very beautiful flower but it's toxic... at night gives off a sweet fragrance, hence the adjective suaveolens.

A gorgeous flower and capture and my very first time to view this magnificent angel's trumpet!
They are wonderful plants and their blossoms are unique, I konw the pink and white ones - had some in my garden in Luxembourg!
Excellent!
Such gorgeous detail and colors! I love the sharp definition of the edges of the petals. The thing that most fascinates about this flower (at least to me) is the wonderfully pointed and wavy petals and you have captures them perfectly. The delicate pink shows up beautifully against the dark background too. Excellent shot!
This is a beautiful capture and wonderful contrast against the dark green. Dana
