Description
This the main character's ship from the game MASS Effect. The original Normandy is destroyed during the opening scenes and a newer, better, larger, version is built. I love this game and I was so happy when I acquired Lightwave and was finally able to export it in a format that actually worked. The original model comes from a place called Foundation3D.com and as per their Terms I must mention them or the artist I would've done it anyway. For you modelers out there who are thinking of doing conversions and are bitching about how long it takes I can tell you this. If you have 3D Object Converter (yes that's it's real name) and a copy of Lightwave. Your options are virtually limitless. The next thing I hope to do is create a cr2 and pz2 file for these models and their maps. After that I will post them and let everybody know where (Links provided of course.) I hope you all enjoy my efforts. Oh and if anyone could tell me how to rig a model I would be much obliged cuz my only attempt failed miserably FYI I have Poser 8 pro too.

You have created very elegant star ship. Well done!
The conversions and Texture mapping took only ten minutes. Not bad huh? Easy as pie I just opened the .lwo file clicked export as.obj then opened in Daz and re-exported with maps so that when I import it, it has a .mtl file and I don't have to retexture anymore. Simple huh?
wow, really class work the light is fantastic ^^
looking forward to seeing an interior shot of normandy from poser/daz3d point of view rather than the game it self maybe more higher quality than the game. Also, any plans to convert characters from mass effect to poser/daz3d for future renders? looking foward to see more mass efect related renders!
Mass Effect truly is a cool game. Have played them both and the atmosphere of them, especially from the 2nd, is so dense, that I wish somebody would make a good movie out of it because the ending scenes are ... spectacular! Love to see the model for Poser users as well here on Rendo if possible! Would like to get my hands on it ;) Cheers, maddy
fantatsic scene and effects! wonderful
It's almost time to do some action scenes. As soon as I can get some bad guys done.
