Description

Papilio palinurus. A butterfly of Southeast Asia. Also known as Emerald Swallowtail or Green Banded Peacock. I use telephoto lenses to take "macro" shots when the subject is too far away. This is an example. This butterfly was between 5 and 10 feet away from me. This is one of my very favorite butterflies. Thank you for all your comments and support.
