Description
Reached way back into my old files for this sky shot, captured 12/8/05, early in the AM, within walking distance of my adorable abode.
Better viewed full size.
No rain resulted from this hodgepodge of threatening looking clouds. Just an extreme rarity of spectacular dry formations that drifted over my area between 12/8/05 to 12/19/05. A medley of various configurations, including dark cotton balls, white buttermilk clouds, and natural contrails, all interspersed with blue sky. And I was out every morning to photograph it with my obsolete Canon A80 point-and-shoot.
Haven't seen anything like it since.
Shalom, thankx for tuning in, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

It really is a great mixture you captured. It does look to have had a little rain in it but it must have changed its mind.

Clouds are my favorite thing to take pictures of. They are never the same, always amaze me and are so darn cool!!
Excellent light, colors, and layers! I like the trees which have the same round shapes as the clouds. Lovely shot. You beautifully captured the complexity and many layers here.
