Description
This started as an attempt to keep things simple and uncomplicated. Guess I failed miserably on that, grin. Creating a convincing path with rubble and boulders wasn't that simple. For me that is... Ah, but the sky is simple: Only one cloud layer did the trick.
The 'light exposure' was set at '2' instead of the default '1'; the idea for that came while taking a stroll under similar weather conditions: I realized that with this kind of clouds and light a default TG render would be dark and gloomy and details in the shadows would be invisible whereas in reality I still could see them clearly.
The vegetation was made with two populations of lightning's Long Grass and three populations of various pines by Klas and MGebhart (available through the Planetside forums)

Well done picture! The vegetation looks really good and i like the way the sun go through the trees to make this particular shadow ambiance.
very nice...you can brighten the shadows by increaing the ambient in the atmo tab, say from default 0 to 0.3...can help if a scene is a bit too dark... love the light and mood/details here...
Nicely done, Andy my friend. It's good to see work allows you time to create! It's that one detail of the tree's shadow on the path that brings this scene together.
