This image reminds me of the old tv series Star Trek. They had a machine called the transporter. People or objects were placed on it and they would disappear into a beam of light and then rematerialize on some where else. If this technology could ever be perfected the need for cars, trucks, planes, UPS the postal system and many other systems would become redundant. What a boost that would be for eliminating global warming from buring fossil fuels.
