'Yeah babeeeeee I usually like ride a Harley, but errrr I thought like I would ride this today to keep it real...........and plus like my Ferrari is getting like serviced!' ;) I'm just kidding, but I was watching this couple as I was eating my lunch. The guy literally never stopped talking, and the girl would nod her head occasionally and give him a smile!
Like the majority of notable Melbourne bars, Penny Blue is located in a laneway off a lane. Housed in the orignal Money Order Office building, and adjacent to the iconic Melbourne GPO, stroll down Lt Bourke St turning into Driver Lane and you will find an intimate lounge filled with striking furniture and warm lighting. This old motor scooter is wheeled out each day by the cafe staff.

This is a beautiful and touching image Andrew, I hope it worked for him but probably not if the bike belongs to him.

Nerves make you talk non stop sometimes; hope she got to say something--and I hope they have a second date!! (ps, thought you were gonna show us a foto of your daughter and I thought, "No way, she's way too young and Andrew would be sitting right next to her!!!" lol)

Good job. The narrative works so well, because we've all either been the guy or the girl at some point with someone. I suspect its one of those truly universal things regardless of culture.

It' s a lambretta / Innocenti scooter of the early fifties. Much ( MUCH ! ) better than the better known Vespa scooters. Pity... Peter

I was hoping that the guy didn't pick her up on that ancient scooter. She is very pretty. Super catch! Dana

Great photo! I'll bet that scooter could tell some interesting tales if it could talk.
