Hi there.
This is a Rose chafer (Cetonia aurata).
Some years in the past I saw one of them, near Berlin and without a cam in my hands. And now, on the last Sunday morning, I saw one with my cam in hand.
I took my chances and got some good shots of him. After the session he took off and flew away over the meadows. A very great moment, I stood there speechless and follow him with my eyes as long as possible. What a beauty I thought and thank god for such a chance...
I will share 3 more shots of him and some more I took that morning in the next days. Stay tuned and don't miss the full-size-view.
