"This is Western City wall of Jerusalem's Old City, near the Jaffa Gate. This is NOT to be confused with the Western Wall of the Temple Mount (aka Wailing Wall). From personal knowledge, I know what a very beautiful experience it is to fallow the outside wallwalkway from the Jaffa Gate to the Zion Gate. These present walls have been built on the earlier foundations of both Herodian and Roman walls that followed the same path; these were uncovered by the Israeli Antiquities Department, and thus nowadays one can see 2000 years of History condensed into a single struture!"(dphoadley)
