there are four main markets in Palermo, they are in the poorest parts of the city and wind themselves around te myriad of lanes, the selection of fruit and vegetables have to be seen to be believed

Wonderful composition, details, colors, and light! I like the contrast between the heavy solidity of the stone buildings and the airy quality of the fabric umbrellas. They contrast wonderfully color wise too. I like the window that is open to the sky. It looks like an eye looking down on the square. Beautiful image that captures the atmosphere of the market!
