Very cool capture. I'm not sure what it is either, some sort of bee I'm sure, but I've never seen one like that before.

Hiiii ... It must be very careful. Small bites birds and it is more severe their piquures. Beautiful and good shooting ((5 + +)) Hiiii... Il faut faire très attention .Les petits volatiles pique et c'est de plus en plus grâve leurs piquures. Belle et bonne prise de vue ((5++))
Very nice capture but I wouldn't get to close not knowing what it is lol..
It is a sort of wasp. I don't know what species but it some sort of cousin to the common wasp. But a fine capture of this! :o)
Nice shot
Aww come on, get right up there in it's face!! :-) I think it's a type of wasp as well, and a handsome one. Nice capture.
don't blame you either...yep looks like a a wasp of some sort, very striking colours...the sort that says " bug off i am dangerous "
I've heard of a type of fly that has adapted to look like a bee so other things will leave it alone... kinda looks like a fly trying to look like a bee... awesome photography!
Yeah, best to be careful of anything that's yellow and black and flies! Nice macro!
You have a very good zoom lens, Cheryl, nice capture and a wonderful piece.
