Cotylorhiza tuberculata is a species of jellyfish, also known as the Mediterranean jelly or fried egg jellyfish. It is commonly found in the Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea and Adriatic Sea. It can reach 35 cm in diameter. It seems that this jellyfish's sting has very little or no effect on humans.

Wow! That's a good size jellyfish! Being American., I'm metric challenged BUT I looked it up on my trusty Metric converter! We have infestations occasionally at the shore of much smaller ones that have a nasty sting and the beach is full of crying children who have gotten stung. Nice shot!
Interesting looking species, never seen one like that. Peace
Lovely shot. Nice to see.
Wonderful capture and clarity
great shot of this !! tolle details und mag die blubbelblasen auf dem wasser ...
belle photo!!
Stunning capture my friend. God Bless.
wonderful looking
Superb color and clarity! I love the image. The subject (to my eye) could be a bit more to the right, with perhaps more of a letterbox crop. Something a bit more dynamic. (Crop off the top and the right-hand side, in other words, to move the subject more off center.) Of course that's only my artistic opinion, and I'm known for cropping off WAY more than most people would! LOL! So you take my advice, and do as you darn well please.
What an amazing creature! Stellar catch with amazing clarity!
Awesome photo!! Very detailed with nice light and composition.
Ok do not think i would want to eat them if that is the purpose buy great photo.
Marvelous capture!:)
Wonderful shot!
awesome shot..
You certainly do seek and find the unusual POV.
Excellent capture with superb clarity. A very unusual "fried egg". I don't think it would go very well on toast.
