ML-1 Actual Decent Stage on the move. Continuing straight on from last week. With the now successful launch of the two ML Test Articles into Earth orbit the time has finally come for the first component elements of the actual ML spacecraft to make their way into space as part of the next phase of Robert Carter’s master plan for taking America back into space after the end of the space shuttle programme. At Florida’s Kennedy Space Centre the first of these component elements, the Descent Stage for the ML-1 Actual and its Hercules Super Booster carrier make their way toward the launch pad via the huge Crawler transport machine. Whilst similar in shape and weight to the ML Test Articles, the Decent Stage for the ML-1 Actual is a far more complex machine on both inside and outside, a requirement which is necessary for the task it will be asked to perform at some point in the future. To be continued.
