Description
While on my hike yesterday I came across a spot that was wet mud. I noticed this bear's paw print. it is a little over 6" across. My hand fit easily inside it with plenty of space to spare. It was also made just minutes before I came along so it was now time to be vigilant. I'm sure he was somewhere just out of sight watching me but I never did get to see him. From the size of the print he would be a juvenille maybe 2 or 3 years old at most. That is still plenty big enough to be serious trouble if you were to upset him.

Great capture of it Jim, and smart idea not to stick around too long
Don't go walking where the bears live!!
wow big print !! well seen !!
You have a lot more nerve than me great capture superb work !!
So interesting! We have nothing really dangerous here, apart from drunken youths.
It sounds like time to move back to the suburbs. lol q-: Thanks for the peek! (:
How interesting to see this. Thanks for sharing, Jim.
Amazing find, sad you didn't spy him in the distance, of course. Andrea is so right :o) :o)
I seen on the net that a car struck a bear in Canada causing the bear to become airborne and going through the windshield of an on coming car killing the driver and passenger. probably the first time for a flying bear to kill two people at once the trouble with bears is they can follow you up a tree and more quicker than humans
Well seen and captured Jim! :) Remember! Don't feed the bears! ;D
EXCELLENT CAPTURE!!!
Sure happy I was'nt with you. I would have filled that paw print with all sorts of bodily waste material. Awesome capture, thanks for sharing. Love and Hugs...
