Description
Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated.
I came across this happy little family while out for a hike yesterday. They did not seem terribly worried that I was closer than I would have thought they would allow. They were far more interested in something moving in the water. It turned out to be a muskrat.
I hope you enjoy this charming family wishing you a happy birthday Dave. My list shows your day as today, although I saw some folks wish you happy birthday yesterday. If I'm late please forgive me.
Jim

So interesting! Canada Geese can be a pest here, but we have no muskrats!
Wichita KS is a winter home to 100s of Canadian Geese, they congregate along the Arkansas River that runs through the City, noisy things. Super shot Peace Noticed after the comment, this is in Frctals
Force of habit. Its moved to photography now. Sorry.
Hi Jim, and thanks so much for the wonderful birthday dedi. This is an adorable little family and it was great they allowed you to get so close to get these cool pics.
Excellent captures and collage! They must be used to humans to let you get that close. :)
They are so cute, hope the muskrats keep away!!!
Cool shots and great dedication to Dave

Ohhh....Adorable image my friend, very sweet dedication, well done!
What a sweet close-up. Quite often these families run off when they feel threatened but they don't seem bothered by your presence.Nice that you caught 2 families in one area. A rare but beautiful sight. Great job Jim and a nice dedication for Dave's birthday.
