Description
This photo was taken last Saturday at Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee. We ran into him while hiking. He was at the top of a small hill in a wooden area only about 30 yards from us - way too close! Luckily the bear was not aggressive.
Besides feeling that my heart was about to jump out of my chest (from excitement and fear), I was also having a very hard time focusing the camera on the bear. However, I liked the effect on this photo of the bear being out-of-focus. What do you think? I will post others where he is in focus.
