Beautiful capture! They grow so fast! :)
Aww, look at the fuzzy head feathers of the youngster! What a great capture!
Wish I could twist my neck like that.
Wonderful close-up shot.
A marvellous clear capture that gives me a great view of all the details. They are such beautiful birds.
I'm utterly blown away by the clarity, lighting and textures in this Heron series, Dana. I doubt if I'll ever have the opportunity to even take a decent shot of the beautiful avian, much less get up close and personal like you did.
A wonderful shot of this heron grooming itself.
beautiful!
SUPERB SHOT
There is something rather dinosaur-ish about that chick on the right; it's the chin area under the beak--rather like the lower portion of a pterosaur's face. Needless to say, I think that's infinitely cool and it would most definitely be a boost to any growing heron's ego. What a shot. These are such elegant birds and you captured them perfectly, especially in terms of the colors. They're distinct, but nicely subtle.
Awww.....Adorable! Wonderful photo!
Beautiful shot of these birds! :o)
