Description
an area as big as 500 soccerfields was burnt.. it is awful to see ( and smell)
sorry I haven't commented for some days, but I came home sick after visiting a friend who lives near the dunes
I will catch up as soon as I can

The picture of it is stunning. But what happened, not of course! Bedoelde je te zeggen dat je ziek thuis gekomen bent van je bezoek? Ik hoop van niet. Doe rustig aan, in ieder geval, hugs, Mies.
I hope you feel better soon a very sad image superbly captured !!
Horrific! Get well soon.
Hallucinant beeld!
Sorry to hear your not feeling well. Excellent capture of this burnt area. Actually fire is a natural way of renewing forests. We have areas around here that were burnt quite badly but in a few years the growth is thicker than ever. The animals that are dislodged and rooted out of thier homes are difficult to not feel bad for though.
Fantastic and sad photography, Juliette!!!
een surrealistisch maar triest beeld, wetend dat het waarschijnlijk is aangestoken, a surreal but sad picture, great pic! RS
Cool shot and treatment!
A sad sight but you captured the scene well. I hate seeing things like this and thinking about the animals that are displaced or killed. Hopefully rebirth will come soon.
It is so sad when fire goes through a natural reserve it makes such a mess. I do hope you will feel better soon.
Beautiful capture.
I HOPE ALL FOREST TO BE ALWAYS GREEN!!!AMAZING CAPTURE!!!!
I hope you feel better soon ! Fires are a bad wound in the hot season! A few days ago I photographed a Canadair addastramento at the lake (presto. unfortunately, will serve ').
de opname is mooi. de gedachte erachter niet. Beterschap.
so sad.....
Verschrikkelijke gebeurtenis voor de natuur. De Belgische Kalmthoutse heide werd er ook mee geconfronteerd. Bij de brand is ruim 600 hectare uniek natuurgebied in vlammen opgegaan.
Hope you are feeling better Juliette! Sad the destruction of fire, but afterwards, in time, you will find lots of new life. Excellent pic! (:
Hopping you feell better!such a sad capture!
Great but sad photo...
:-( - I saw the same some years ago at Sicilia. Nice photo with bad view.
Wat vreselijk jammer van die natuur. Dit is vast de Kalmthoutse Heide bij Roosendaal.
Often fire is a natural way of renewal .. but it's till very disturbing. One thinks of all the creatures that died and that were displaced .. it's so sad, regardless of it's a natural event, or deliberately set fire.
