Description
This cactus bloom was taken, in the Arizona Sonora Desert, April 1998, with my old trusty Pentax and recently scanned. Zoom to look deeper into the flower.

Nice scan and a super flower I have some coming into flower in the greenhouse but you are so lucky to have seen them in the wild.
Your old Pentax really came through with a myriad of wonderful colors, clarity, patterns and textures in this capture, Dana. Among other things, I like the miniature watermelons sprouting out of the blooms in the lower part of the foto.
Well worth having all the prickles when you get a flower like this. A wonderful capture.
LOVELY
Beautiful capture Dana.
