Description
Veni was back in 1998 when I started to work at Philips Optics, and once again in 2000 when I passed a psychic period of my great love who I had to leave because I would have fallen too if I'd have stayed with her. Vidi was about a month ago, when I moved back to Eindhoven and saw that the site the building I used to work in was torn apart and most of the buildings were destroyed. In the image the pile of granulated bricks probably comes partly from the building I worked in. Fuji was today (well, I use a sony, but that wasn't convenient in the title :-)) when I found a way to sneak onto the construction (or destruction) site and shoot some great images, and here's the first of those...

the saturation makes for an intense capture
What an image! The colors are in such an intense contrast and the overall feeling I get from looking at this is the feeling of looking at another world...a mysterious but inviting place. Really well done!
Wow, what a huge pile of bricks! It would be bigger yet had they not been ground up! But it's good news to read that the old bricks are recycled. Wonderfully rich tones! Very exciting that you were able to find a way, so there are more wonderful images to come!
