Very nice scene!
As Bernie said - one of your best pieces. Don't know if you know it - there is a painting from a german painter of the late 18th century, who mostly worked and lived in Leipzig ( greatest city in saxony). His name was Tischbein, an he has been a close friend of the famous german poet J.W. Goethe. These painting shows Goethe in a italian landscape, resting at an stone-bench. Your image looks like an mirror-twin of it.
Nice steampunkesque art! Very well posed and presented! Love the character! As always!!!!!
