Very sweeeet shot of the Eagle gals!
Well done. They're so perfectly aligned.
fabulous
Cool! I live just 10 miles from the Lakenheath airbase, these things regularly mock dogfight (I think that's what they're doing, very loud!) above my house. what with these going over, C130's dropping Para's over at the Stamford training ground and the regular (very) low-pass hellicopter gunship sorties across the fields near my home, I live in a very interesting area! I've also been riding my Z1000 along the main road next to Lakenheath AB on occasion when these thing's have been coming in to land right across the road (about 100yds from the runway, so the F15's would be at about 50 ft!!!) INTERESTING!! Great shot of an awesome aircraft...glad they're on our side! PS, I really miss the yearly Mildenhall airshow that's now been stopped due to aircraft being needed for more important duties, ho hum, maybe someday everything will be back to normal ah!
Looks like good timing, they appear to be about to move out.Love that sign 'Active Airfield, Explosive environment,NO RECREATIONAL USE'..no sh*t sherlock :-). Very cool picture, thank you....
That was very kind of them! Great timing and shot.. Wonder if one or two of these are in my flypast shot at Duxford I posted a little while back? Rob
