Description
Snapped 4/16/11, through a strip mall store window, within walking distance of my humble habitat.
Andrea should appreciate this since she's a connoisseur of women's apparel and accessories, e.g, millinery, beaded purses, beads, perfume bottles, clothing shoppes, early to mid 20th Century stuff, etc.
Well, I know it's a value judgement, and I'm just a guy who attends events like air/auto shows and Civil War reenactments for much of his foto material, and far from an expert on feminine fashions, but I think these tops and beads are gaudy, showy, and a bit garish.
I assume there are those out there who will disagree, claiming these styles are in vogue and the latest in chic and haute monde, and a favorite among the young with-it set.
Adieu, thankx for stopping by, and for any all favs and laudatory comments.

I like that knotwork top in the first two shots; it is a bit dressy, and I'd never be able to wear it, but I appreciate the work that went into it, and I think it's pretty as a work of art. The bottom one doesn't do much for me. The photos, however, are well done as always, Harry!
Neither outfit appeals to me, but I'm sure Andrea will appreciate the dedication.
Some really great captures here Harry, this was a cool dedi to your friend
I'm just so happy to see some lace coming back into being fashionable again. It is so feminine and pretty which makes a change from being so punk looking. Excellent captures. Not sure I like the bottom combo though.
Isn't it crazy, people will buy jeans with holes in them? lol. Nice collage :)
They don't appeal to me. I wouldn't have the first one on for 2 seconds before I snagged it on something. The bag looks big enough to carry a book, always a consideration. Excellent shots!
Well done collage Harry and I like the handy work of #1 & #2. Dana
I think these look great and I'm sure they will find their way onto some lovely bodies where they will turn heads exactly as intended! Very nice collage, I'm sure Andrea will love it, say, maybe you should buy that knotwork top for Andrea! And I'll go down there to photograph her in it!
Great collage of excellent shots. Fantastic details.
Well, Thankyou, Harry! I couldn't wear that top one as the dogs would get caught up in it and it's too grey for an older lady, and I wouldn't wear the bottom one as the lace spoils it for me. But it's a colour I wear a lot! Thankyou for thinking of me!
Well i agree with you lol but amazing captures thanks for sharing !!
Oh I have a hard time window-shopping... I have to BUY BUY BUY! :P That style jewelry can look a bit gaudy on a lot of people, but then there are those who can get away with it, and it looks great on them. I'm not one of them, unfortunately. The tops? Now, they are COOL. Great collage Harry ♥
There not really my style either, but my daughter would love them.
I'll stick to my Levi jeans and t-shirt thanks...but nice capture and dedi Harry!
