Description
This shows that Health & Safety has still to arrive in North Cyprus. This is the public entrance, note the path under the door. It is a rock and boulder floor! A city centre ancient tower that needs climbing skills instead of a wheelchair ramp.
The venetian lion plaque shows another one of the former invaders of the island. The ancient door
worth a close up I thought as well.
Although Shakespear never went to Cyprus, the story of Othello is based on real life events that happened over on this corner (Famagusta city)it is believed and news of the events did get back to England at the time.
