Sorry i have not been around but i have been very sick but a lot better now so my sister and i went out looking for big rocks to put around the pond where they had dug out the ditches here to clean them up so the water could flow faster and in this big clog of muck i stumbled across this claw sticking up in the air and went to touch it and it moved and i thought that is weird cause it should have been dead cause it has been 3 weeks that they got this done so i busted up the clog and out he come and what a mess he was so i took him in to my sink cleaned him up and turned him loose, what determination he has to live just shocked me to no end.

Always nice when health returns. Can't help but think mmmmmm when I look at this guy...but, I guess he deserved to live.
Fantastic shot my dear friend, amazing details, I hope you get well!
They have gill chambers that take oxygen from the air. They will create a small pocket of wetness in the mud, and can easily live for 6-7 months as long as their gill chambers remain wet.
