Description
Going to re-enactments, I often saw this young man on horseback who often would come into my gallery tent and admire my work.
One of the great joys of doing this art was having his fellow re-enactors come by see my portrait of their friend and excitedly rush back to announce he had been immortalized. They purchased the portrait and presented it to him at fireside that night, honoring someone that they all greatly admired.
