Description


The wild ferns start with what some call a fiddle head, looking like the scroll on the neck of a violin. This uncurls and a fern leaf is formed. I find much beauty in tender emerging leaves, fuzzy buds on a tree branch, azaleas not quite ready to open..and yes, ferns. Wild ferns grow well in the small bit of woodland we enjoy.
