Description
Last year I had to wait months before meeting the peacock butterfly (until June if I remember correctly), this year is seen with some frequency. I took the opportunity to see when it closes its wings, it is unrecognizable. The color, very dark, allows her to blend in more easily. When he opens his wings, showing the beauty recognized hence the name (Inachis IO ) in honor of the High Priestess of Juno ( IO ), famous for the legendary beauty. Butterfly widespread and I think that everyone knows, but always a pleasure to meet.
