Description
The Sur-At (Surface to Atmosphere) Shuttle craft is the standard Earth Defences Organisation short haul vehicle used to transport personnel and cargo to and from planetary or moon bases to and from ships in orbit.
Picture 1 (Top) shows a Sur-At as it prepares to leave Excalibur's Flight Deck. To the rear can be seen a second Sur-At with is wings folded in standard storage position when not taking part in flight operations.
Picture 2 (bottom) shows two Sur-At's in Earth's atmosphere as they make the journey from planetary orbit to one of EDO's many surface bases on the groud far below.
Excalibur carry's six Sur-At's, four on its Flight Deck and two on constant stand-by for flight operations on its Bridge Deck landing platform.

Always difficult to judge size with these things, so nice when you put them in a situation such as the top image.What appears to be a door in the right hand column gives a scale point and everything else takes on proportions accordingly. Another excellent weeks presentations, most entertaining....have a good weekend Phil...
