Description
Tonight's a panoramic photo of 4 from the edge of the ditch in Bozzano, taken yesterday afternoon that shows the snow-capped Apuan Alps (the night before completely absent). In the foreground of the taps the side of the opposite side of the ditch behind the hills of Massarosa where we can see the Romanesque Church of Montigiano and behind them a part of the Apuan Alps with their snowy peaks. After Saturday the weather took a sudden step back The sun disappeared and it seems the chill wind of the north wind rages.
In the middle, between the spouts, you can see through even the Romanesque church of San Pantaleone in Pieve a Elici. From one of the two do not see each other.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Alpi Apuane are a mountain range in northern Tuscany, Italy, not part of the Apennine Mountains. They are included between the valleys of the Serchio and Magra rivers, and, to north-west, the Garfagnana and Lunigiana. The name derives from that of the Apuani Ligures tribe who lived here in ancient times.
Geology and geography
The chain formed in the middle Triassic period, somewhat earlier than the rest of the Apennines, and on a rather different geological structure, formed by a sea landscape. Karst topography is widespread, as well as the marble rocks (including the world famous Carrara marble) for which the area is renowned.
The highest peak is the Monte Pisanino (1,946 m).
