Description
Some fresh pictures which i will be sharing now which i have captured yesterday. An insect I presume that I neve saw and photographed in my life before. His Ugly face reminds me of some alien monsters seen in some movies. If any one knows what this is please tell me. Must say his face scares me. Can there be such ugly monsters in nature?

All insects are from Mars....Long and slow invasion ;-) Beautiful shot
Something else will soon emerge from this shell. Maybe a damselfly, given the spacing of the eyes. Clive
Clive I will go and check today if something emerges from there. From tomorrow I am on leave and will be back at work on the 23d March.
Wonderful shot. It could be a hover fly of some sort!
It looks like a dragonfly larva. by a pond?
Oh, Chip will tell you a long story about this alien! A real ugly critter but a lovely shot!
it is the "sleeve" of a just-hatched dragonfly... Cool shot!

He isn't the most handsome fellow around is he, but I guess his mother loves him. I have never seen one like this either and you have captured him very well.
Some bugs make the most amazing transformations. :) Great find and capture!
