Description
Tonight, the flower of a plant and fruit from one of my favorite fruit: apricot.
The flowering apricot is one of those prior to the foliation. The flowering buds are formed in the spring leaf nodes of the armpit of the Mass, and ripen in the fall: it seems that the long winter they receive increase such as that thickens, but do not open in the back of the beautiful flower season.
I have never seen, nell'Albicocco, open flowers on the tips of branches or wood.
The apricot flower is composed of a glass monofilament, divided into five lobes dull and reddish in which they appear five rounded white petals, stamens twenty to thirty of the length of the corolla, and ovary spherical, smooth, which changes into the fruit.
This is the mysterious laboratory of fertilization, where it is formed in the proper condition of the many things that countenances Agronomists have called the name of variety, and where they combine, where the normal proportions are altered, the seeds and irregular jumble that bind to the action of forces of affinity, but which grow into monsters. Most of these sterile beings who do not keep that with the methods of artificial propagation, which possesses agriculture, bring their monstrosity in the pericarp of the fruit. But if you combine those who often bring in flowers, and preserved its culture nell'Albicocco one known under the name of double apricot flowers.
This is a flower that lacks stamens el'ovaio, and leads in their place a number of petals on the equivalent of two bodies that replace them.
His characters are those of all other flowers mules. It is infertile, tints of color live, and supports long open time without winding-up or wither. Why is wanted by the man who preserves and multiplies it by bringing it to live on other plants by means of Apricot graft, and cultivated in gardens for ornamental landscape painters.
