Description

Tonight's a new "proof" that spring is starting to show the first signs of awakening, the picture of a flower almond always photographed in front of my house today, although cold, was a beautiful sunny day and I took the opportunity to make a ride along the ditch to draft with good photo hunting. Among the subjects, marsh harrier, cormorants, herons, coots, grebes and ducks flying into the ditch. The almond blossoms are in bloom in early spring, sometimes in late winter, and for that symbolize hope, as well as the return to life of nature, but skimming over a short period of time, they are also the delicacy and fragility. They have inspired myths and legends, promoted the creation of traditions, widespread sacred words, culture and folklore, which have their roots in ancient times the geographic area with a Mediterranean climate where the plant is grown. The early flowering almond branch appears as a signal of revival to the prophet Jeremiah in the Bible, in Exodus, God tells Moses to take the flowers to forge a model for the gold with a hammer in order to get the old candlestick Hebrew (menorah) with seven branches. In the biblical text of Ecclesiastes, the almond blossoms are the symbol of how life flows quickly to aging. Within just over a week change in tone from pinkish white to pure white before falling from the branches. The interpretation of the verse is twofold: the white petals represent the white hair or the vigilance that accompanies old age. Good evening and good week Thanks for the comments and the favourites of previous image
