Wonderful portrait Ute. This is a reminder that age is a relative thing. I know back when i was in my late teens and even early twenties i viewed people that were in thier 50s as being elderly. Now that I am almost finished with my 50s , my hair is more grey than dark especially my beard (like your image) I realize that people in thier 50s are not just old foggies. But I'm sure the young generation in their teens now think that I am too old and should just go away. It is sad that as we are finally old enough to know better we also have some of the frailaties that come with age. I think it is a shame that youth is wasted on the young.
