Description
Her given name was 'Beyond the Lake of the Shining Still Waters' - but everyone just called her 'Beyond'.
When they spoke of her in huddled groups, they would nod their heads in sage agreement - She was beyond hope, beyond redemption, and always beyond the boundries of 'The Land'.
But, on her returns, given pride of place beside the night-gather-hearth, fragrant with cedar and soft pine wood, she wove tales that rendered them spell-bound with wonder-tinged fear and awe.
Tales of 'How she found and won the staff with the softly glowing head' - the very one she kept always by her side.
Tales of places and peoples they wouldn't wish to visit or contemplate the existence of.
And, as she sang, her eyes were ever fixed - gazing towards the vast horizons of the unknown beyond.

Wonderful lighting...I like the way you've settled on a lighting angle that delineates the figures muscularity...very effective and satisfying. Using the cool blue orb in such an unconventional compositional space works as well. Very nicely done!!
