Description
Superstructure for the boat hoist at the Edmonds Marina.
Although we didn't know it at the time, I was taking pictures of this bit and Bill was taking pictures of its reflection.
I'll show you another picture later that will explain what this is and what it does.
To see the reflection, check out ...and Below in Bill's gallery.

Photographic collaboration - what a way to enjoy your hobby... (that is spelt h-o... not h-u...!) Clive
Great how you can make this industrial metalwork look so interesting, good job you caught this or Bill would have just got a photo of a puddle :-) "Ermmm, Rob mate... 'See, you'd never normally notice this' !!!!! no wonders you never learned to drive.....LoL
I love the warm colors in this and the 4-Ton reference, which I assume means that this has a 4 ton lift limit? At any rate I'm fascinated by the hints and whispers of really heavy lifting that must go on regularly. Machinery is such a strange thing, gorgeous in ways that no one really stops to consider, and yet when you notice it's beauty, grace, or whatever, it really jumps out and grabs you. This is really super!
