Description
This was shot the evening of 2-5-2011, it had snowed earlier in the week and had stayed cold enough that not much snow had melted. Cabin fever had began to set in so I went out in quest of a photo opportunity, this pond I’ve shot many times in the past and have posted a few of them here on Rendo.. It seems to be ever changing and is one of my favorite places near home.
Thanks for stopping by and for any comment you should care to leave!

Wonderful image...well done
Lovely soft winter scene~
beautiful
Looks goldurn chilly! It is odd when you go to the expm=naded mood the ske looks like it is on canvas. Does anyone why. I t was at Iso 800.
Most beautiful. It feels quiet and tranquil. Very lovely.
SPECTACULAR, OUTSTANDING IMAGE!
I suppose frigid desolation would best describe this finely photographed vista. Great mood atmosphere in this shot, and I like the way the background disappears into a haze.
Great to look at, but so glad I wasn't there. ;o)
Splendid winter landscape & capture !!!!!
just today here snow comes again - your shot is wonderful , such an beautiful place
I'm glad to hear you went out on this venture... you certainly captured a most perfect place and time.... the stillness here is so magical; such peace and harmony in this atmosphere. I like you're choice of colour here, as it truly brings out such a brightness of the snow, and even lights up the natural look of such an incredible sky! A gorgeous appeal! Im so glad you shared this! May you have a wonderful week ahead!
Beautiful capture! :) Spring is already starting to show it's signs down here by me.
This is sooo pretty!
A very lovely, peaceful and cold scene.
